Q Background It is time to begin thinking about your demonstration speech. First thing to consider when speech writing is the audience (from this week's reading this is also called WIIFM)! We have to get the audience interested in what we say. The first step of that is picking a "cool" or "interesting" topic. Keeping in mind that the WIIFM factor, consider two or three topics that you could speak about that would engage the audience's interest and attention. For each of the topics you pick, answer the following questions: 1. What are is the proposed topic ideas (pick 2) for your demonstration speech? 2. Why are you interested in those topics? 3. What is the benefit of speaking on this topic(s) for your audience? 4. What are three concerns you have in preparing this speech? 5. Can the I accomplish a quality demonstration speech on this topic in 4-5 minutes? Part 2: Please respond to one other person's post (10 points) Try to pick someone that does not yet have any replies.
